The sacred horse scene
Two men by feet (figures 11 and 12), a horse, and four birds are situated in
the centre of the southern wall murals. Look below:

The riderless horse is fully bridled. Figure no. 11 seems to emphasize with
his gesture the importance of the animal. Both, figures 11 and 12 are furnished
with padams (pieces of textile before the mouth), an indication of
their ritual function and of the horse's sacred nature. [Cp. further
