Figure 27 and the main inscription on the western wall (page I)

Mode (1988)     Near the left corner of the western wall, above the lower row of persons, is the half destroyed image of a man in white (figure no. 27), with boots, a polo-stick (?) and a long sword.  He stands with his back to the beholder. On the lower part of his white caftan are 16 columns of a text in Sogdian.

Behind figure 27 stands a second person (figure 26, immediately at the corner of the wall):
