Western wall
Near the left corner of the western
wall, above the lower row of persons, is
the half destroyed image of a man in white (figure no. 27), with boots, a polo-stick
(?) and a
long sword. He stands with his back to the beholder. On the lower part of
his white caftan are 16 columns of a text in Sogdian. [Read more on the inscription...] |
Behind figure 27 stands a second person (figure 26, immediately at the corner of the wall):
Left: Figure 26 is dressed with a red-coloured caftan. In the lower right of the picture the sword of figure 27 can be seen. |
