Group captains no. 15, 16, 17
Al'baum's copy depicts the same section of the paintings (right). The traces of colours are quite clear only with figure 16 (red caftan). In the left is the
delegation from
Tang-China of group B1 moving in the opposite direction. Note that here the
delegations cross. Therefore a gap appears between the group captains 15-17 and
their delegates. The delegates must have started with figure no. 7, the remains
of which can be seen in the extreme lower left of the above picture [more
on this figure].
